Nice flower. Inspite of the bokeh, I can tell that this is in Thalawakell. that's Great Western and the Upper Kothmale settlement in the background. Correct?

took this at St.Clair Tea, that tea shop over looking the St.Clair falls, on the road from Colombo to Nuwara-Eliya.

Didn't get what you meant by bokeh? tho...

ah ha! St. Clairs is in Thalawakelle.

Bokeh is the blurred out effect in photos. Everything that is some distance in front of or behind the focal point gets blurred out. Usually this produces a nice effect because it draws attention to your subject.

Sometimes, you get what's called bad bokeh, where some objects get blurred out but looks like rings or circles.

now that you mentioned it, i think i have managed to get many bad bokeh photos than the good ones. I'm starting to learn few things on photography from your comments..! hope to receive more of them! ;-)
